Who We Are
Each year we donate school supplies to a family to make life easier. |
Every year since 2013 I have been donating to several organizations but I have been donating to an elementary school all my sons went to when they were young. Then COVID-19 came and all the kids were home schooled. Well prior to COVID I decided to donate school supplies to a family instead which I did, then the following year COVID-19 came along forcing kids to stay home. Well this year I started to donate to a family again. So I went to Walmart and saw a woman and her two children shopping for their school supplies, I approached the woman and told her that I would pay for her school supplies. She was very surprised by my generosity and I told her when she was ready just call me and I would come to the register and pay the total, which I did. She asked what could she do in return for me and I told her just take care of her kids. Later that day she sent me a text message that read:
“Hi Mrs. Mikki, I just wanted to say thank you again for your blessing today. As a single mother, this was such a tremendous help! We thank God for YOU and your kind heart. If you there is anything we can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me. Forever grateful💜, Monette, Chloe and Chelsea.” I responded: “Good morning, When I donate I do it from the heart. I don’t ask for anything just to take care of your kids and yourself. Keep yourself healthy, give lots of love and help them be as great as they can be. PEACE” I have had a lot of heart breaks in my life but I’m not going to let that stop me from helping others for my heart. We are here for a short time Don’t put so much energy in doing negativity and use your energy in doing good. The world is cruel enough.
